My in-game name is om_nom_nom. Part of my real name sounds like "nom" and some people decided to call me "om nom" and such because of that (a lot more frequently during lunch). When I registered for Minecraft Alpha, I was trying to think of a username and om_nom_nom was the first thing that came to mind. I've stuck with it as my username whenever I could ever since.

Also I like to eat (who doesn't?) so I guess that could also be a shorter reason than the above.
